I recently built a PC for personal use and casual gaming and my motherboard did not come with anything built in, so I need a wifi adapter. I'm not familiar with what to look for in an adapter for my needs. I want to be able to play online games smoothly and watch videos and Netflix. I not a hardcore gamer so I don't need the best out there. If you could recommend me some nice adapters under $20 that would be awesome. I would go Ethernet but that's not a possibility in my situation right now.

If you have a spare USB port available on your motherboard header or the back I/O then yo can look into just about any USB dongle and have it paired with your router/hotspot. If you have a PCI Express x1 slot open for population then you can go that route and lastly you could just get a wireless router like this and have it set to receive from your router while it is tethered to your systems LAN port.

Mind you, those low profile antenna free USB dongle's will loose some of it's reception due to it's size and eventual placement as material density can affect the signal strength reaching your dongle from the router. That all being said, can you please pass on your full systems specs?
