Question What's a good wireless extender?

Hey guys, a bud has Xfinity service and Netgear router. His garage is like 60' away from his house, can anyone recommend a good extender for his garage application please?

A situation like this really requires a pair of wireless bridge units. One on the outside of the house, wired to the primary router, aimed at the garage. The other unit on the outside of the garage. An ethernet cable brings the network into the garage and a WIFI AP provides the network to clients.
You might be able to use powerline network if the garage power comes from the primary breaker box in the house.
