Whats a Normal Temperature for CPU AND motherboard Z170 PRO GAMING

Solution

Your motherboard will not be that high, a motherboard will usually only be in the 20-30C range.

You may want to turn the overclock off and test your temps to see if it is getting the correct temps. An i5 with a stock cooler get about 30C idle and 60-70C at high load but this depends on your ambient room temp really and if you have much airflow in your case. Also it may be your CPU is at a fault.

I have two front intake fans powered by one molex cable each which comes from the PSU and then the standard back fan.
use mb bios and have stock intel cooler the cpu chip should sit between 35c and 45c. depending on the temp of the room. the hotter the room is the harder for a cooler to keep the rig cool. the larger air and water coolers should sit in the 25-35c range. if your using 3 party software to read the temps make sure your reading the program right some show three lines min/max and last read as the center channel. if your using one of those the core cpu temp of one of the cores is going to be hotter as it active core. on intel cpu mb unless load has all cores active. then you see temp for cpu case. that temp should be in the 30-40c range low use range. under normal gaming 50-60c is good. 60-70c cpou running slighty hot. anything near 70c or higher the cooler not on right or there an issue.

When I play game the heat up to 60 or 65 in cpu and in tha motherboard up to 66 or 67 Is that Normal Temperature and I use Corsair Hydro Series High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler H60 for CPU

Ye a long while back I was gaming and started to wonder why my CPU was going to 70C when gaming and for some reason one of the stock CPU pins had come loose.

So I took it off, cleaned both CPU and cooler then reinstalled it, I now get 30C idle and 60C under high load. Thou currently I'm looking into a new cooler and the buzzing noise of the stock one is annoying me.
