Question What's a safe overclocking measurement?

Hi guys, basically my stock speed is 2133MHz, and I'm thinking of getting 2x 8GB 2666MHz corsair vengeance. Obviously this will lock at 2133MHz, due to my CPU being a i5 6400 3.2GHz. I was just wondering what's a safe speed to overclock to?

Many thanks!

If you have only one stick of ram, buying two sticks will be better since they will run at Dual Channel and therefore giving you twice the bandwidth, that will boost your cpu performance a good bit. Although, your board is capped at 2133mhz since it doesn't allow XMP. You could search a version of z270 board that fits your case or you can just buy the least expensive 2x8gb ram set that fit the 2133mhz or higher requirement.
Even if you insert higher clock rams, these will run at the maximum speed the board allows.
