Whats a suitable upgrade?

So i got a new Mobo and CPU (Asus H81M-PLUS and an Intel i5 4590 Quad Core) and now i wish to upgrade my graphics card. i have a budget of 200€ and would like to see what someone could recommend.

i have 8gb of DDR3 ram and windows 10 64 bit and wish to find something that would get me the most value for my money, I'm using this for gaming and my current GPU is getting on in years. any advice would be great.

A 1060/580/480 all make good sense with that setup, maybe a 1070 if you plan to go 1440p/60 hz.

What is your current GPU? With a budget of $200 (euro) you should easily be able to find a nice GTX 1050 Ti. Before the rise in GPU price, you could get an RX 470/480, 570/580, or GTX 1060 3GB for that price.

But before you buy a 1050 Ti, let's be sure it's a suitable upgrade from your current GPU.

Unless you can find an RX 470, RX 480, RX 570, RX 580, or GTX 1060 within your budget; I'd suggest getting a GTX 1050 Ti.

*Maybe you can find a decent used GTX 970 within your budget. That would be a another level above a 1050 Ti.

Stay with the 640 till the mining craze dies. This is a terrible time to be in the market for a mid range gpu. Prices are half what they were for an ether when this crap started it'll be over soonish
