So im building a PC but there is one annoying confusing thing that i hate
''Gigabyte GA-F2A78M-HD2 Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master TC102 ATX Mid Tower Case w/500W Power Supply does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.''
what does it mean /\

Think of it really simply:
Imagine USB 3 as having three lanes. Traffic (data) can travel back and forth down these three lanes.
USB 2 only has two lanes.
Therefore the amount of traffic can travel quicker down USB 3 because it has three lanes.
Now.
Your motherboard has a USB 3 'header' which is a road with three lanes.
BUT
Your case only has a two lane USB 2 road. Therefore, although the traffic can travel down the two lanes, it's like going from a 3 lane freeway to a 2-lane - the traffic SLOWS DOWN.
So that's why pcpartpicker is throwing up the warning. It really doesn't matter, but it's just informing you that the speed transfer of your data won't be as fast.

I hope my analogy helps!
When you attach your motherboard to your case, the case will have some USB slots at the front (for ease). Your motherboard has the faster USB 3 connectors, BUT your case only has USB 2 ports. That's what the message means. :)

Some USB devices use the USB 3.0 protocol like case connectors. USB 2.0 is different and uses the 2.0 header.. If ya don't have anything with a USB 3.0 mobo header connector, O.K. Ya might someday. When buying new stuffs.

What Do USB 3.0 headers do?

Don't think ya get it, but you will learn though, hopefully. The only stupid question is the one unasked. We learn as we go:). If you don't have any`USB 3.0 things to plug into the mobo header, no problem.
Hopes this helps,
sincerely,
