What's Best/fastest Copy Prog HDD-HDD in Win 10? Assume SATA6.
3 days to copy 8Tb = way too long....

There is literally nothing wrong with File Explorer.
Sooner started, sooner done.

Now...you can go into tools like RoboCopy or similar.
Faster? Doubtful.
I'd have to see documentation and specific testing conditions.

good ol copy and paste. it'll work as fast as the involved drives can go. there is no program that will somehow make a drive faster than it is.

I (have) like(d) RoboCopy in the past. The trick is knowing the "switches". I used a terminal like program called "Robo Cop", no affiliation to the movie, that automated the commands and worked very well for me. I used some of those scripts in a task for years as my backup(s) solution.

Thanks, that's at least a path, unlike others.
I have 6-7MM files and I've been reducing my 100+ HDDs, but the time it takes damages the public domain collection.
I'll have to test it out, and may I contact you for questions re: RoboCopy?
