Question Whats Best for Gaming

HI all
At present I have a Acer 3D HN274H monitor running at 120hz I dont use the 3D aspect anymore, I was thinking about upgrading to a 4k monitor running at 60hz I currently have a GTX 980ti OC which it says will run at 4k but will probably get a RTX 2080ti in the next few months which will give me the best gaming experiance the current Acer @120hz or a 4k @60hz? thanks in advance

Depends, the higher the HZ aka refresh of the monitor the smoother the image looks, but on 4k the image looks very clear tho.
