Question What's best GPU for Ryzen 5 3500x

Hi , recently im planning to upgrade my GPU first. Any other recommend gpu for my current specs ? Prefer Nvidia GPU

Actually I'm quite interest on 3000 series like Rtx 3050 / 3060 / 3060 Ti / 3070

Because watch some videos on youtube , found that rtx3060 / 3060ti / 3070 look like running well with 3500x

Current specs :
-Ryzen 5 3500x
-Biostar B450M
-Zotac 1650 S 4GB twin fan
- PNY 16gb Ram
- darkFlash GS650 Full Modular 80+ Bronze 650W power supply
- 1 TB HHD + 1 TB SSD

Problem with the 3500X is the lack of SMT.
What's the brand and model of the RAM?
I don't recommend to use a 3070 with your PSU. The internal design is not sufficient for that GPU. 3060(Ti) is on the edge.

I see . I'm using ram : PNY XLR8 2666MHZ DDR4 16GB (8GBx2).

I'm planning to upgrade gpu first , and next will go with GPU /mobo/ ram soon.

So I'm planning to get Rtx4060 , is that ok for me ?

Motherboard will do 0 for gaming performance, in your case. A new CPU would be a better choice, over a motherboard, and I would recommend a 6700xt, over a 3060ti, or an RX 6800 over a 3070, for GPU.

Should be fine but usually the 4060 is bad value for the money.

Yeap , planning to get a new cpu next with R5 5600 , because im always playing game with medium setting with 1080p

Maybe can consider 6700xt because the price slightly nearest with 4060 in my country (Malaysia) , But does my psu can support 6700xt ?

I have never heard of that PSU brand. The wattage itself is enough, but the quality may not be.

your power supply is fine to the 6700xt or 3060ti
The maximum my 6700XT push is 225w or 165w with under voltage and -5% power

Get a cheap 5600 and try to overclock your ram... maybe can go over 3000mhz without issues.

If your planning on going up the gaming ladder your first step should be a proper psu the last thing you need is smoke.

What you have now is not meant for gaming.

Shop for a unit with at least a 7 yr warranty.
