A normal 20-amp, 120 volt, household circuit will only provide 2400 watts before the breaker trips. Most 120VAC to 12VDC power supplies will only supply around 1800 watts. I think it would be cheaper to get an amp that is designed to run off 120VAC, that to get a power supply that would run an amp designed for 12VDC.
