I would (and did) take the MSI GTX 970 Gaming G4. On low load, the fans don't spin and that means dead silent.
I saw that you wrote somewhere that the msi g4 have coil whine issue I didnt understand what it is and, if it is happens to all,
if it is happens how may I fix it.
The G1 gaming is the "best" on paper, however it has been known to fall to more issues compared to other brands after purchase.
I personally recommend the MSI Gaming, as its a bit shorter, runs quieter, and retains high quality.
Sorry for beeing late in reply. You asked about coil whine. I have read a lot about MSI's 970 G4 having a high chance of an issue with it. Mine is affected too, but I can hear it only using onboard sound through speakers and only if I lowe a little ingame sound. Problem solved by using a dedicated sound card. Also I think quality of psu and mainboard can affect the coil whine too.
I did not research for other brands coil whine issue, so I don't know if MSI have a bigger problem then others. I still recommend the MSI, a the performance difference between cards is low as 1-2 fps in almost all benchmarks.
onboard audio is dependent on the MOBOS audio quality. How well the audio pcb and the main PCB is a major issue why onboard audio is terrible for some motherboards. I am not sure Coil whine is combined with your mobo,
My board is not bad or old, its the Gigabyte H87-D3H. The onboard sound sounds crystal clear and good. It even sounds better than my sound blaster x-fi. In low fps (under 100 fps) there is no coil whine.
I didn't want to discuss the quality of mine board, just pointing out a solution if someone else is reading this message and have coil whine.
