My experience is that they are all about the same. Biggest problem with newer drives is that they use rubber band/belt for their open close mechanics versus older drives had sprockets, slippage on the bands/belts is the most common failure.

Ya, I fixed an Xbox I got for free by replacing the rubber band/belt with a hair-tie type rubber band thingy. Works great now.

I'm leaning towards the iHAS right now because of the number of reviews along with the 5-egg ratings...also happens to be $1 cheaper I believe.
