Whats better Voodoo5 5500 or Gainward GeF2 mx400?

Geforce MX400. (Driver support good) High qulity D3D.
Voodoo5 (It's too big & Needed much power.) No technical support.
My choice mx400 instead voodoo5.
If you hardcore gamer I recommand GTS OR Kyro2(Above
1Ghz Cpu speed).

The Voodoo 5 wasn't a bad card... but the company is dead, it's a dead end product, and there is no official driver support. Glide is toast, so you're not gonna find any new games using it... besides, Voodoo5 still costs as much as a GTS right? And a GTS is a far better choice than either the MX or the Voodoo 5.

If you can't pay the 100 bucks for a Ge2 GTS, wait until the new releases from Radeon this fall, which should drive down the entire line of Geforce prices.

The Radeon LE is tweakable to retail spec. At that level it matches an overclocked GeForce2 GTS in applications such as 3D-Mark 2001. It supports more features than the GeForce2 series, in fact it suports SOME DX8 features. Now the KyroII is the least of high performance cards. Much of the stuff other cards do in hardware, it does in software. So a KyroII will beet a stock speed Geforce 2 GTS in many apps with, say a 1.4GHz processor on both systems, but it will loose sorely if both systems had a slower processor. I don't care much for software solutions, I do multitasking and like to leave a little room to process other things!
