Dear Community,

We have below Issues with DNS Server:
We have Total 4 Sites:

1.HO(Head Office)
2.NRA
3.JRN

[Moderator edit - deleted item #4. Live link going to an an unavailable location. Changed link to text.]

4.CH

We have total 4 Domain Controllers, one at each site with DNS & DHCP Service at Every DC installed as well.

Issue#1 This is the issue witnessed at only Head Office. Whenever we rejoin a Machine to domain with new name like we rename the old name, the internet doesnot work and when we check from back-end, it starts Showing 2 DNS Entries and If we Ping the Machine It shows Old DNS Entry, what we do is that we delete the older entry and then reboot the affected machine and then Internet starts working on the Machine.

Can Anyone Suggest me why this issue is happening, as it is happening really frequently.

We have Windows Server 2019 installed on all Sites.

More information needed:

For example: "we rejoin a Machine to domain with new name like we rename the old name " why is that being done? What reason(s)? How often?

What specific actions have you taken to resolve the problem(s)?

Any error codes, log entries, etc. regarding the internet not working/failing?

And your question regards "Issue #1". Which begs the question are there other issues? If so, what are those issues?

Likely relevant.

The second issue is that If a machine is turned off for a long time then we delete it from AD as well and then we turn it on we rejoin it with the same name then it occurs as well.

For your reply that why we rename the machine the new machine is that we takeout hard disk from old Machine and insert it new machine and rename the new machine as we have an Asset management system(Its not a full flash system we created a manual system where we manually added entries) we have machines assigned with specific name (e.g. DESKTOP-1 assigned to Maria )to each user its kind of micky mouse system so once old machine goes down we assign new machine with the same hard disk & then we rename the machine as well and its easy to keep track of machines for us.
