whats difference between these? amd mobo

hi i have no clue about mother boards so can some one tell me, AMD 760G to AMD 970FX Motherboard i guesing the 970fx board is better? its extra 29$ should i get it? or wont make any improvements?

7 series is a older chipset 9 series uses the latest AM3+ chips

oh ok mate so ill go with the 970fx is this board ok for a gaming set up? with a amd fx 6300 i keep hearing amd stuff has heating issues

sounds like a plan to me - and yes AMD gets hot have good air flow - I liked the downdraft type cpu coolers that push air down on to and across the board [opinion] but to each his own on that .. personal preference thing

that's a 95w chip and a 4+1 phase board so it should be fine overall going to a 120w chip like a 8350 would add some heat thing with AMD is everything runs through the chipsets and they tend to get hot as well in all AMD is hot in nature

good air flow / cooling goes a long way to help keep things in check

i also read the stock cooler for the 6300 is good i dont plan on overclocking but i will be rendering large 3d scenes in 3ds max hopfully doesnt get too hot
