All mine are on 10 now , 4 were on 8.1 and 2 were on 7 all 64 bit. My systems are all pretty high end , but seem to be more responsive on 10 , but that's only my opinion.

Boot time depends on the hardware and what software is starting up far more than the OS.
Gaming depends a LOT on the hardware.

The difference is not great, as the others have pointed out and the hardware/intended uses matter in the comparison.
