1050 (NOT ti)
Ryzen 7 2700x OC 4.2Ghz 1.45V
16GB 3200Mhz
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX

So I'm trying to OC my 1050 since it only hits 55C on max loads, but my OC seems to crash it at the weirdest times

+220Mhz core, +150Mhz memory, and +40% core voltage will run fine, still 58C. I set the voltage to +45% and It crashes. Set the core to +230Mhz and it crashes.

I want to say its because it doesn't have any PSU power and the MOBO can't supply that much through PCIe? but I have no experience overclocking GPUs.

That's a good posibility. You do need extra power to OC. Why is +220 core not enough? What is the avg clock for a PCIe bus powered 1050? What makes you think yours is so different/better? Remember that there is the "silicon lottery". If the avg OC is +270, that still means ~50% can't hit that. You already got +220 so you are doing better.
