What's my best option?

I recently got a gaming pc with these specs:
8gb of ram
geforce gtx 1060 with 3gb of graphical ram
1TB hard drive
amd FX 6300 6 core processor
msi 970 gaming motherboard

I will soon have a budget of around 400-500 usd to upgrade the cpu and I wanted to know what my best option is to add to my pc

With that budget, get the 1700X, with a motherboard and some more RAM, and it'll be a really good machine.
