I recently built a new gaming PC, and can run games maxed out at 60 fps...sometimes. I run Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed Unity, etc. maxed out at 60 fps, but I run Battlefield 4 on low at 22 fps sometimes. Other times I run it with no problems at all. So thus I get to my question, What's my bottleneck?? or do I even have a bottleneck at all? My specs are:
AMD FX 6300 6-core processor
MSi 990FXA-GD80 motherboard
Rosewill 80 Plus Gold 550w power supply
8Gb GSkill Sniper RAM
Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card (Brand spanking new)
Cooler Master Seidon liquid cooler (Brand spanking new, just put it in yesterday.)
Kingston 120Gb SSD (boot drive)
Toshiba 500Gb external HDD
All of these parts are only several months old, so it should not be age that is the problem, but I do not rule it out as a possibility.
Thank You!
