What's my bottleneck

I recently put together a new pc, I expected a bit better performance, do you know where there could be a bottleneck?

Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6100
MB: Asus M5A78L-M LX3
RAM: 2*4GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM Kingston HyperX Fury
VGA: Gigabyte R9 390 8G

Yup, it's your CPU. The R9 390 is a powerful card, and that CPU just isn't. I would step up to the FX-8XXX series CPU's.

Unfortunately the OP also bought a motherboard that isn't very good for a FX-8xxx CPU.

One more thing, what is the major difference between AMD FX and A series? would it make sense to upgrade Motherboard and get an A10 chip?

Absolutely not. If you plan on replacing both the CPU and motherboard, then seriously consider an Intel i5 CPU to achieve optimal performance from your GPU.
