Would cost over 3k when built, 1500 firepro, 1500 hp 1360t + upgrades

i7 3770

FirePro V8800

16 GB DDR3 1600 RAM

120 GB SSD 1 TB HDD 500 GB HDD

Antec 900

1100 W PSU

Any idea?

About $1500. There is no straight answer. A lot of these out-of-stock / older components can actually cost more than new ones because they are harder to find. On the other hand, hardly anyone would want to buy those anymore, putting you at a disadvantaged position.

Yeah, but most of these are relatively new parts, the gfx card still goes for $500.

not that much. for example, even though its a workstation card, that v8800 is based off of the radeon 5870 gpu. the card might be worth $100 today. at any rate youll be hard pressed to find someone looking for such an old, used, workstation card.

we dont know anything about the brand of SSD or psu so i'll assume its something older and mediocre.

id give that rig a value of maybe $600-700. certainly well under $1000usd

But your problem is just the GPU and CPU alone sells for $750 on eBay.
