I get internet at my place of business, 1700 ft. from my home but can't get it there. What do I need to extend the wi-fi that far? I've been looking at directional network range expanders by comfast or signal king, what do you recommend? There are trees between but my house is up hill and I can see my it from the roof of my store. I really need to be able to get internet at my home and don't see paying an arm and leg for sat. service. Please help if you can . I know nothing about stuff like this so please remember your answering a dummy .

Thanks, CR

Thanks kanewolf: I may try this but will need to double check to make sure no trees are in the line of sight now. Do you have recommendation if there are trees in the way?

Again thanks,

If you have trees, I don't know what will work. They absorb RF signals. I assumed you would put this on the roof, where you say you do have line of sight.

yea, high power single directional antennas on both sides and bridge the network. Hopefully you won't break any laws regulating wireless transmission power, you may want to check that out. Also, it may not work 100%
