free ball mouse/keyboard/speaker combo
17 inch crt with screen rounder than the queen of hearts.
56k connection with amazing speeds (4-6kbs!!!)
a tower that sits on a small green lawn table
no fans beside heatsink/psu.

that about sums up my dream machine.....

What would you get if you could? I don't necesarily mean to ask what you'd buy among existing products. I mean, what kind of things do you wish were available? I've asked local dudes and some of them talk about faster CPUs or graphics cards, etc. I could easily toss three items on my short list: 1) Radically faster hard drives 2) Much faster Internet access 3) A dream case with integrated killer PS and bombproof cooling system.

Oops, I forgot the most important item: Incredible OS and app improvements...
