Whats the actual, exact measurements of monitors

This issue came up and no site seems to have the answer, I was looking on Amazon for a good size monitor for gaming and youtubing. My current laptop is 17 in. and I wanted to go with a desktop instead and I'm searching for a decent size monitor and I found a good deal for a 21.5 in monitor. The thing is, I want to know its actual size, and I looked further and saw the listed dimensions were 20 x 15 x 7. Not sure on the 15 but 20 and 7 are correct. So what is the actual size is it 21.5 in or 20 in? I also assume that the listed sizes are the packaging size which would make less sense if its a 21.5 width. Its an Ultra thin monitor so the 7 in would be the stand maybe but its width is small. Let me know if this is a typo or the actual size. thx

I figured it out nvm, The 21.5 in measurement is the diagonal measurement of the screen. I was stupid its good

You can back out the screen size from the diagonal and the aspect ratio. Simple Pythagorean theorem calc.
