As title says im looking to buy either a 144hz or 60hz monitor around 100 - 200 pounds.

I dont know if i should get 144hz monitor.

My system will have a gtx 970 and a i5 4590 will this play current and future games over 60fps?

Or if i should just get a good 60hz monitor for cheaper, maybe a IPS monitor?? I can save around 50 pounds or more taking this option.

Ive heard this is a good BenQ 144hz monitor for 200 pounds: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/benq-monitor-xl2411z

Or i could get this ASUS IPS 60hz monitor: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-mx239h

Or a cheaper option like this: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/benq-monitor-rl2455hm

But if you think i shoudnt get a 144hz monitor please tell me what 60hz monitor would be best for under 200 pounds and if TN or IPS would be better, thanks

Oh and its 1080p im looking for too and only trust worthy brands such as benQ, ASUS,

For your budget, AOC G2460PQU is an amazing monitor that you should definitely look into. But just for a little bit more, you should get the BenQ XL2411Z. This monitor is amazing buy for the gamers choice! First reason I would tell you to get the 144 hz panel is if you're a competitive FPS gamer? Then 144 hz is an amzing panel because the fluidity of the motion will make you play better. At least in my experience by the way. I used to game on 60 hz IPS panel. But it would give me headaches after long periods of game time. But not with my 144 hz monitor. It's amazing!
