What's the best case (airflow) for this build?

Hello folks,
I've built this PC a while ago with an NZXT H440 Case, but the airflow is really really bad. f.e GPU temp shouldn't go over 75 at max. but with this case airflow it goes up to 87 which I don't like at all, even the CPU is suffering.

CPU I7-6700K 4.00 GHz
M/B: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 GAMING
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2400MHz
HDD: WD Black 1TB
Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
PSU: COUGAR CMX700W 80+ BRONZE

If you think the nzxt h440 is still a (great) option for the airflow, what kind of fans do you recommend me to add? where and which size? in or out?

OK, sounds like it's a Gigabyte Windforce then. You may want to consider removing one of the drive cages to aid a front intake fan, assuming you can of course.

seems you're using the wrong fans on the wrong positions.

generally I'd use 2x 140mm intake front
1x out rear

and depending on the temps additionally 1x side intake and/or 1x top exhaust

and use good fans of course (Phanteks or Noctua, maybe bequiet for the optionals)

3 120mm at front (intake) and one 140mm at rear (exhaust), no fans on top. but i might add 2 custom fans to exhaust the air at top.
What's the best size for the top exhaust fans? (will add 2).
Is this a good choice? https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-AF120-Quiet-High-Airflow/dp/B00F6S0XJO

The H440 can accommodate two 140mm fans or three 120mm fans up top. Two 120mm fans will give you the ability to add a third, although larger fans are generally quieter and move more air. In all likelihood, you'll get similar results either way.

I use AF140 fans myself and am fine with them. They're a good compromise between price and performance.

Is your GTX 1080 a reference card? That would contribute to a higher temperature.

Thanks for the help, I don't care about the noise. logitech g930 does all the noise block stuff. ¯\_ツ_/¯
And nope my gtx isn't a reference card, it has 3 fans.
