I'm having a lot of trouble deciding on which graphics card to buy, and I'm hoping you guys can help me.
These are the three options:
1. MSI Gaming X Slim Geforce RTX 4070 Super 12 GB - $849.99 CAD
2. Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE - $806.99
3. Any 7800xt model - ~$700
Currently running a 5700xt with a ryzen 7 5800X cpu and 32Gb DDR4-3200 ram. I'm also playing on a 1080p monitor, but I'm planning to upgrade to a 1440p monitor when I buy a new gpu.
I'll be using my pc primarily for RPG gaming. Assassins Creed, Elden Ring, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, etc.
I'm torn between buying a nividia card with better RT but less VRAM or an AMD card with better VRAM, or if the difference even matters. I wish to buy a card that'll last at least 3 years + and that'll keep up with new game releases.
I'd appreciate any advice that you could give. Thanks, from a newbie.
