I have a asrock g41m-vs3 mb and want to know what would be the best LGA 775 socket CPU to game on.

Q9650, but that's not saying much. It's about time to save up for something newer(cpu, mobo, ram).

I have an old C2Q Cpu, Q8-something - It was OK, but it is nothing compared to a really cheap Intel Pentium. It will struggle just because of the age and the tech compared to what we have nowadays.
Don't expect 60fps @ 1080, even with a top of the line GPU!
