[SOLVED] What's the best CPU for my MB?

My MB is Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H and my CPU is i5-4670. I heard that if I want to upgrade the CPU I need a new MB and a new DDR
If I want to keep my MB and still upgrade my CPU, what are the best ones (in terms of perfomance in gaming) I can get?

4790K is the best among them.

Yup, socket LGA1150, so CIre i 4th and 5th gen (5th was only a handful of chips with no OC)
And as usual the fastest chips for a given platform will cost a premium, as there are more people looking for them for an upgrade. Which is why the 4790K is still listed at ~$250, which is about 70% of what it went for back at release.
