What's the best CPU I can install in a Intel DG33BU?

Hi There,

Title says it all, what is the best CPU I can install in a Intel DG33BU. This is a little project I'm working on because I got the computer for free and it came with this motherboard.

Well, you may want to go with the Core2 Quad Q9650 as it has a high clock, cache, and a quad core. I'm sure CL or eBay will have them for cheap.

You can get the QX chips, which are overclockable, those are considered the "best" but that really is only useful if the BIOS for your motherboard supports overclocking.

However, used QX cpus tend to go for what in my opinion is absurdly overinflated prices.
