Title says it all, what's the best CPU you can get for £100-£120 ? Also what would be the best motherboard for this CPU to go with a GeForce GTX 1050 TI ?

You should be able to get a Ryzen 5 1400 for almost that.

Thanks that helps a lot! Would an i3 6100 be any good for gaming with this GPU, for example CSGO?

Yeah the i3 is pretty good for CS GO and older titles like that, but will struggle with more modern games compared to the r5 1400.

If you're budget is tight the new 1300x that got released yesterday will beat the i3 in most titles and oced pretty good on the stock cooler.
