What's the best free download manager for Mac that integrates well with the latest version of Google Chrome?
I'm new to Mac operating systems. I use a free program called "Free download manager" on Windows. It doesn't support Mac OS.
So I searched for alternatives and every program that I have tried seemed to have problems integrating with Google Chrome. I need some suggestions.
I would prefer to use a download manager that supports both Safari and Google Chrome. It would be even better if it supports Firefox as well.

The only free download manager I can think of with a GUI that somewhat integrates the browsers you cited and isn't laden with spyware is Progressive Downloader 1.12. You can get it here: http://www.macpsd.net

Thank you for your response. I have tried "Progressive Downloader" already, it doesn't seem to work with Chrome.

While they don't integrate with browsers well, aria2 and axel are some of the best download accelerators out there. However, they require the use of the command line.
