Whats the best gaming cpu

What is the best gaming cpu I can buy? I'm planning on using 2 titan x pascals in sli on a x99 motherboard
I want to game at 5k ultra

If you have that much money to burn go ahead with a Core i7 6950X. It's not really necessary though because a Core i7 6800K is plenty but if you want the best and can afford it then get it.

X99 either the 6800K or 6900K - doubt you'll see the need for 8Cores and 16 threads anytime soon and for gaming don't think the 6900K is all that good price to performance compared to the 6800K, but.........
