What's the best gpu for core i5 2400 ?

I am trying to upgrade my pc and I need to know what's the best gpu for me.
Motherboard: gigabyte ha-h61m-d2p-b3
Intel core i5 2400
8gb ram
Power supply 500w

That's still a good CPU, what make and model is your PSU? Do you have a budget?

My reccomendation is go with the GTX 750 Ti, or the better r9 270x. I would go with the Radeon, but if your budget is strict or you're not into radeons, a 750 Ti is a very solid gpu.
