whats the best graphics card for my budget?

Hi I recently have been looking at a new graphics card and I'm looking at a budget of about $200 now I'm a little conflicted with what I should get. I thought about getting a gtx 660 but there are other choices that are just as good.

The R9 270 edges out the GTX 660 at the $200 mark, I would consider that card over the 660, but they are similar in power.

I'd go with the 660. It is true the 270 by the numbers is negligibly faster, but in real world there isn't much of a difference. nvidia however is better when it comes to software and usually offers a better experience. I currently own a 280x so i am not biased.

True, but I have had some trouble with Nvidia software and drivers as well, it's not AMD only, however it is a better experience. Don't forget about Mantle though, if that pans out half as much as they say it is definitely worth getting the 270 over the 660 just due to the performance boost that gives. But, that's up to you.
(Not biased, I have a GTX 770 and an AMD laptop)
