Whats the best graphics card my PC can handle?

My PC specs are as followed:

Acer
Intel Celeron 450 2.20ghz 2.19 ghz
RAM 1.00 GB
32 Bit Operating System
Windows 7

I am having trouble gaming, would a better graphics card be the answer? If so what one should i get? Or do i also have to update more of my hardware?

Its my younger bros computer he just wants to play Fallout:Newvegas is there no possibilty on this computer?

You would need at least a pentium 4 level cpu, and preferably with dual cores.


With at least 2 gb of ram, and a graphics card at least as strong as a 3870 to get what I consider minimum playability.
