What's the BEST memory card for both the Samsung Android 4.4.2 Note 3 and S4 phones, and can they use either the SDXC or SDHC

Please help:

Deciding on whether to purchase Micro SD cards from the older standard SanDisk Ultra 64GB UHS-I/Class 10 Micro SDXC Memory class, or going newer with the SanDisk Extreme PLUS/Pro 64GB microSDXC UHS-I/U3 Cards, but I hear that the SDXC may not work very well with our Samsung Galaxy Android 4.4.2 Note 3 and S4 phones. Can not find a clearly defined answer to this question, I would really appreciate help on this?

As far as I know, either should work on samsung phones running kitkat or newer. I would get to carried away with taking the SD card with the fastest speed as the controller itself does have speed limitation. To paraphrase, I would go with class 10 UHS-1 as your phone doesn't have the capability of writing to the card faster than that sd card will allow.
