Hi

I am looking for high end board. I dont like MSI so please don't include them. I want to have at least 4 or more RAM slots to be future proof and maximum PCI Express version 5 to be future proof and ultra stable.
I will be gaming and working on it. I like Asus, Gigabyte, and ASRock.

I am currently divided between X870E versus X670E boards. I dont see much difference between them ?
I don't care much about RGB or WiFi as I am using a LAN cable. Some people told me that an X870E is faster in terms of CPU and RAM compared to an X670E?

My budget is 500-600 euros max. because I also need to buy a cooler, GPU and many more things.
I already have RAM which is 64GB Corsair for intel. it was a better deal but I plan to use it with the motherboard on AMD EXPO somehow?

You can do away with a B650 or B850 chipset motherboard if all you're going to have is a single discrete GPU. The X series of chipsetted motherboards would be for people running a lot of storage and PCIe devices.

You've mentioned the budget to your board but where are you located and what is your preferred site for purchase?

As for the ram, you're advised to choose ram that has AMD's E.X.P.O advertised on the package to make sure you're under compatibility conditions. You will need to wait for the motherboard to come in in order to drop said ram kit on and see if you don't run into stability issues.

I dont like msi so please dont include them.
FYI, MSI's Tomahawk motherboards are the best value for money and have been so for the past decade.

Are you looking squarely at matx motherboards?

Hi i am located in europe and pci express 5 for gpu and nvme is a must and also ultra realibility my main concern is which one to pick x870e vs x670e brand and model ?
i am located in europe i can buy from Uk,Germany and everywhere in Europe... i can also import from usa. i dont have preffered site i buy from ebay, amazon and whatever the best deal is. i am looking for regular motherboard and maximum future proof i already bought Intel 64gb ram ddr 5 corsair , 6400mhz. dominator titanium.

i consider , x670e aorus master gigabyte, x870e aorus master gigabyte, and asus hero x870e ? which one to go , x670e is the cheapest others are pricey.

Only real difference between 600 and 800 series MBs is chipset with more and faster PCIe lanes supplied by chipset as well as USB4.
Considering 9950x which cab draw upwards of 250W you need an MB with VRM with minimum 12 -14 phases to make full use of it so even some B motherboards would do.

Which one would you pick, Asus Hero, Gigabyte, ASRock Taichi or something else high end ?
