After some thinking of how I don't upgrade my build like I thought i initially would, i'm looking to just have the best components so i likely won't need to upgrade for 7-10 yrs.
Approximate Purchase Date: This week

Budget Range: No budget limit, but if you need a number $10,000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Learn how to use productivity programs, streaming, gaming, running multiple applications at once, etc.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: Everything (may reuse the 3050, but want to know if the 4090, 4080, or 7900XTX would be the best to get overall)

Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:
Best Buy

Location: Dearborn, MI, USA

Parts Preferences: No preference

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 16:9 ratio since i had full screen problems with an ultrawide monitor. For streaming, is a G-Sync monitor worth it over a Freesync?

Additional Comments: I'd prefer a case with a window, but not required, rgb isn't required, i'll be using all the adobe products, playing games like cod, nfs, games that use unreal engine 4 or better, etc.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My components are 7-8 years old and i upgraded nothing but my graphics card from a 1050 ti to a 3050 recently. It's time to do a completely new build and want it to be future proof, last build was future proofed for my basic gaming needs since i don't care for graphics, but most other people do so I may as well go all out.

Lastly, if you could give me sites to catch up technology and what the best products are please do.

Well if you are just going to the best of everything you should go for

Intel Core i9 -13900k
Asus ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO
64GB DDR5 6400 (At least if you can find a faster kit do)
Geforce 4090
4TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus (I might even go 2 of these)
Full custom water cooling with seperate loops for GPU and CPU.
1200W Corsair HX1200 Platinum PSU
Lian Li LANCOOL III ATX Case

Monitor - Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 -32inch 4K Mini LED HDR 2000

All this will be like ~$8-8.5k but it is basically the best in every category (you can spend more on a 1k+ Mobo and a 1600W PSU but you don't actually gain anything).

I don't recommend this setup it is way overkill for today and you are paying a lot of Luxury tax. A system ½ the cost would be 90% as quick and a system ¼ the cost would still be 75% as quick but if you are determined to go for the best this is it. tbh I doubt you will be able to make it last 7-10 years. It will be the best system for like 1 year. Really good for 2 more, then be mainstream for 2 more after that. By year 6 and 7 you may start to have to make some comprimises to get to play the AAA titles of 2029-30 but it should still be playable but maybe not Ultra at 4K.

That'd probably be fine for me, I may even upgrade, maybe even sell my rig if I need to upgrade in 1-3 years. For my own gaming, i'll be more than happy. For productivity apps and 4k streaming, yeah i may need to upgrade. Thankfully a lot of this stuff just came out, so i should be good for maybe some extra months or a year.

Yeah i wasn't thinking a motherboard could cost me so much (800), and not sure if i should spend 1300 on a monitor. Outside of the 4090, monitor, and cpu, it'd cost me less than 1400.

I do have my heart set on getting the i9 13900 KF (KF since i want the most power and i have 2 3050s, a 1050ti, so if i do get the 4090 or 7900XTX, i have spares) The rest i just want them to be good enough for streaming and adobe and other productivity apps.

Nothing depreciates as fast as PC tech tmk. Buy smart. With that said Intel is due to release their locked cpu's on January 3rd hence the cpu in this build. 27" 1440 IPS is the sweet spot imo due to the fact you don't have to sit 6' back from your monitor (looking at you 4K). btw adding a rear external fan to that case down below is a gimmick as shown in the vids in this post.

This is not bad at all, 2k for everything (minus the 4080, going to wait for a price drop or maybe a smaller model, or go with the 7900xtx), i'll probably just get an i9 13900 KF instead of the i7, and i think we already have the i7 13700 out in the US. Thank you both.

The i7 13700 / 13700F hasn't been released yet. Official date for that is January 3rd although you might see it show up on sites such as Newegg for pre-order within the next week or so. The i9 is a heat producing power hog so I'd be looking at a 420 AIO for that cpu along with a case that's made for that AIO such as this one down below in the link. TBH you'd be better off imo going with the i7 13700 / 13700F and a RTX 40XX series card. That way you can use air cooling and you get all the goodies that RTX 40XX series cards offer such as DLSS 3.0 along with a crap load of FPS and stable drivers.
