AMD cpu's will not fit in that motherboard since its socket 1150, if you want AMD look for a good AM3+ motherboard.
The best cpu for that socket would be the i7 4770k, but the i5 4670k performs the same in games for about 100 less.

i laughed so hard at this post dude all motherboards which have z87,z77,h81,h87,b85 etc in their name are intel motherboards amd boards have am2,am2+,am3,am3+ etc in their name


the best processor for ur motherboard would be i5 4670k for gamming or for 3d designing, video editing etc go for the i7 4770k

Thanks. I've been doing research and I've realized you are correct AMD will not fit. This is no good. I do not like intel processors. Lol Thanks again.

I don't have anything against Intel CPU's but there price range is ridiculous.. Plus AMD 9590 OC to 5.1ghz and mounted on a Crosshair V Formula-Z Mobo is sick AF.. - Unfortunately only few AMD boards look sick unlike Intels.. But AMD is better (And Way cheaper) in my opinion.

My Advice to you: Get a Sabertooth 990FX since you seem to be new to PC builds (Just a guess) and mount the FX-9370 or FX-8350 if you can't afford the 9370 go for the 8350 both great CPU's.. Links posted below and enjoy your new build!!
