Question Whats the best standard AIO cooler for AMD TR 3960x or 3970x

Whats the best standard AIO cooler for AMD Threadripper 3960x or 3970x. (or air cooler)

First proper system getting custom made (did looking into doing it my self but the custom suppliers like Scan Uk or Amari seem to do it cheaper (bulk deals I guess) so no idea on custom jobs in custom build configurations

• CORSAIR Hydro H100i Addressable RGB PLATINUM Liquid/Water Intel/AMD CPU Cooler
  

Plus air coolers

• COOLERMASTER WRAITH RIPPER
• Noctura NH-U14S and here the
• Dark Rock Pro TR4 is good

Should be doing lots of encoding and rendering and this is a content creation system, CAD, Media animation and video plus effects

Not sure on overclocking but would want that an a later option.Ideally quiet, can you get quieter fans? and what others ones do you recomend?

I heard and have a post concerning Enermax AIO coolers with a good contact plate but prone to fails and leaks etc. Want to avoid that

Amari were offering the Enermax.


Close to completing the build and what do I look for to tell how god the cooler is. Happy with 280 or 350 ie 2 or 3 fan radiators

I'd go with the H150i PRO. Seems to be the best one available to you, and one of the best anywhere. Definitely in the top-tier of AiOs.

Yes, get the one the user above suggested as you need a 360mm radiator for TR 3960X/3970X, especially if you are going to OC.
