What's the best videocard for this system ?

I have a PC but the videocard is not good enough anymore.
But I don't know if I can upgrade it.

Here are the specs :

processor: amd phenom ii x6 1100t

Videocard : asus hd 6970

Ram : Black Dragon 1333MHz 16GB

Samsung solid state drive 830 64GB

Motherboard : CROSSHAIR IV EXTREME

Yeah, its slipping a bit.
The gtx 960 is somewhere between the 760 and the next tier up.
If you have a quality 600 watt plus power supply pay attention to the price of 280X's.
particularly used ones.

So the gtx 960 fits on my motherboard ?
