Solution
Don't use any soaps or detergents. I would actually recommend just a lint free cloth dampened with a little water before trying anything that has chemicals.
they say those microfiber cloths are the "recommended" way to clean any display, but for extra dirty screens, all your going to do is smear the oils around on it.

Windex is fine, as it's alcohol based and made for cleaning glass and plastic screens.
Apply about half a spray to soft cloth or very soft paper towel.
Wipe screen with cloth and make sure the screen is fully dry after making it clean.
Never use a dirty cloth, otherwise it'll streak and add crap to the screen.

Hi :)

In my shops we sell both the wipes and aerosol spray designed specifically for LCD/LED screens...

WE use the spray....

Do NOT use water in ANY form.... we get lots of people come in with BLOWN screens where the water has run down the screen and blown the electrics at bottom of screen (both Monitors and Laptop screens)

All the best Brett :)
