Hi all. My question is simple but I haven't done any of this stuff in a while.

I have an MSI gaming laptop that I'm starting to use more often but the stock 256gb M.2 primary drive fills up fast due to the size of my OS some installed softwares and World of Warships file size and updates.

I want to get a 1TB M.2 to replace it. I would like to clone the current drive to the 1TB then just drop it in.

What's the best means of accomplishing such a thing?

Thanks for your help as always

Burk

Unless your laptop has a second m.2 slot you will need a m.2 enclosure.
Fit the new m.2 in the enclosure and connect via usb.
Clone internal to ext.
Remove the internal and replace with the larger m.2.
