i have 500w cooler and i want to buy a graphic card...whats the best i can buy with this cooler?i have intel dual core(1),2gb of ram,160 gb on c disk(1),a DVD(1)and ASUS P5QE

Tom's has an article for you here. ATI's newer cards (HD 5XXX series) are not as power hungry as some the older cards.

maybe but HD 5750(smallest 5000 series) needs 620w cooler and i have 500w abailable.

No, the 5750 can run on a 500w just fine....

oh thanks...i´d been reading and people say that ati works better with AMD and Nvidia qith intel...this is true(i dont think so)?and with 5750 and intel dual core...its possible to run for example,GTA IV at top graphs?

No that is not true, as long as you do not have a bottleneck it does not matter if it is NV or ATI......

GTA4 is a poorly coded game, in order to max it out you need $$$ , you are better off playing that game on a PS3 or 360....

I just figured he meant PSU. I can't think of a CPU (or GPU, for that matter) that would need a 500w cooler. And even if he does have a 500w cooler AND NOT a 500w PSU, whatever we suggest won't harm him or his rig.
