what's the difference between DDR4 2400 and DDR4 2400p ??

I have a gaming PC runing with 4GB DDR4 2400 mhz of ram and i want to upgrade it to 8GB of ram and when i searched in my area i found 4GB DDR4 2400-p .
So i just want to know what "P" refers to ?? and can i install it with my current ram which doesnt include a letter after its frequency.

It looks like the letter is latency designation - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR4_SDRAM
It may mean other things as well but it designates latency at least.
