whats the difference between mini and the standard gtx 1050 graphics card

there is a performance difference between the mini version and the stand version of the same graphics card.
and in terms of cooling which one is best?

almost same functionality, just some case are small and smaller gpu is preferred. small card may have worse cooling but for 1050, it makes no obvious diff.
