Hello Everyone! The question is simple. What is the difference between the GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P and the GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P? Notice there is no U in the second one. Please help. I want to order the part soon. Thanks in advance!
As above, the UD3P has better power phasing and is more of an overclocker's board. Go with it even if you're not overclocking (if it's still available, mind you).
From what I can see, Newegg has discontinued both of them for newer ones. For the most part, they look identical other than the ending model number. Here they both are:
