PCIe can transfer at a much higher speed, but it's unlikely you will be able to max out the transfer speed of the PCI card in the first place.

Both have the same specs wifi wise, it will really come down to which slots you have free.
Your motherboard has a PCIe 1x slot above and below the top PCIe 2x slot. the PCIe 1x ones are the smaller slots.
Normal PCI slot above and below the lower PCIe 2x slot.

I'd go for the PCIe, cheaper and smaller. Should fit in the slot above your graphics card.
