Ok so I'm about to dive into the world of LCD monitors but I have a few questions. Oh and my budget is around 200-300

I'm really not sure whether I want a WS or not. I'm big into FPS, so I'm always playing, CS, BF2, FEAR, and the like. One of my questions is how different is the WS? I mean I've looked at them in bestbuy but that really doesn't tell me much. Also how do they really do with ghosting?, is it a problem? If you were to get a WS which one would ya get? VX2025WM, 204BW, 941BW?

I've read that the VX922 is pretty much THE monitor for gaming but it lacks in the photo editing department. My question is, really how noticeable is the color difference? In other words if I were to put the VX922 next to the 970P(which I've heard is great for pic editing) and opened up photoshop would there be a real difference in the color quality?

I go to film school so I'm always editing pics and movies, if not for school for fun so I don't want some nasty looking monitor but I also realize I can't have my cake and eat it too. As long as the color difference isn't really noticable I'm ok with it.

I appologize for the lengthy post...I'm just someone who likes to get the right thing the first time  .

I'd really appreciate the help, thanks.

After asking a bunch of questions and reading more reviews I seem to be on the fence. On one side is the 90GX2 and the other the 971P.

From what I've read the VX922 is just really poor with colors where as apparently the 90GX2 isn't quite as fast but does better with colors.

The 971P I can't really find an answer on whether it does ok with games or not. I read one review on overclockers.com that said it did great, no ghosting in farcry. I'd be interested to hear what your gaming experiences with it have been like.

I'm home on Christmas vacation and will be ordering this monitor before I go back to FL around the first of Jan. so it will be waiting for me when I get back. I'd really appreciate any input to help me make my decision.
